Frequently asked questions.

How much will this cost?

The cost for ABA services varies case by case. Most major medical insurances cover ABA, but each plan’s coverage is different. Once we begin the intake process, our billing department will check your benefits and give you a better idea of what your financial responsibility will look like. If you are interested in Private Pay options, please contact us for our fee schedule.

Where can I have services?

Services can occur in the home, in our office, or in the community depending on what is appropriate for your child’s development plan.

What training do your paraprofessionals receive?

At ABA TREE the behavior technician is the most important employee on our team. They are our front line workers and our goal is to train our behavior technicians so they can work anywhere and treat them so they will not want to go elsewhere. Their initial training is a three-part in-person workshop incorporating didactic teaching, role playing, and feedback. Once assigned to a client, they are supervised directly by one of our BCBAs and can enroll in our RBT program. In addition, quarterly workshops are provided on the latest methods and behavior analytic treatments. Our clinical director is always available to answer any additional questions.

How long does the process take from referral to service?

The intake process generally takes about a month but varies greatly. During this process ,we must check your benefits to ensure coverage, gather information and documentation to submit to your insurance for an assessment authorization, conduct a thorough assessment, develop a treatment plan, and submit the treatment plan for a six month authorization from your insurance. While this usually takes about 4-5 weeks, this can vary due to the time it may take to obtain the correct documentation from your doctor and receive the authorizations from your insurance.
